Have Your Say on Sexual Health Services for Young People
Join our upcoming online Youthwatch Health and Care Forum, where we'll be focusing on sexual health services and hearing directly from the organisations that support young people across our area.
Why Sexual Health Matters
Access to sexual health services is an important part of staying healthy and informed. Whether it's advice, contraception, testing, treatment, relationships, or support with questions about sexual wellbeing, young people should be able to access services that are easy to understand, welcoming, and meet their needs.
However, we know that navigating services can sometimes be confusing, and young people may face barriers when seeking support. That's why we're creating a space where young people can learn more about what's available, share their experiences, and help shape future improvements.
Meet the Services Supporting Young People
During the forum, representatives from Dhiverse and Everyone Health will be joining us to explain the support they provide and how young people can access it.
You'll have the opportunity to:
- Learn about the range of sexual health services available across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.
- Find out how services support young people with contraception, testing, treatment, relationships, and sexual wellbeing.
- Ask questions directly to professionals in a safe and welcoming environment.
- Gain a better understanding of where to go for support and advice when you need it.
Help Influence Future Services
This isn't just an information session. We want to hear from you.
The forum will provide opportunities for young people to share their views and experiences of sexual health services, discuss what works well, and identify areas where improvements could be made.
Feedback gathered during the event will help services better understand the needs of young people and ensure their voices are considered when developing and improving support in the future.
Why Get Involved?
Youthwatch gives young people a platform to influence local health and care services and make sure their voices are heard by decision-makers.
By attending this forum, you'll be helping to shape conversations about sexual health support in your community while learning more about the services available to you and your peers.
Whether you've used sexual health services before, want to learn more about what's available, or simply want to make a difference, we'd love to hear from you.
Join us and help shape the future of sexual health services for young people in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.
