Visited Women's Health, I cannot fault the attitude of all the staff from consultants through to receptionists, and porters and cleaners. Peterborough City Hospital was spotless and everything was done to make me feel at ease, with treatments available explained fully and clearly. I have no hesitation in recommending PCH to anyone.

Thank you to one and all and hope you all have a very happy Christmas.

My child attended emergency surgery with the urology department and was seen rapidly, without any delay at any point in the process. The staff were friendly and helpful. Porters, nurses, the surgeon and anaesthetist were all great. The children's ward was clean, peaceful and pleasant.

referred to eye clinic directly from optician who had detected a retinal tear, was asked to be there within an hour, was expected, seen quickly, excellent staff - polite, giving out water as hot day but totally professional. saw one consultant to confirm diagnosis, very patient, clear and proficient, then 2nd to have laser treatment - again kind, clear explanations, totally professional. Left within 90 minutes of getting there and less than 2 1/2 hours after initial diagnosis - what an amazing service!

I attended the A&E dept in extreme pain. An astute and caring nurse (paediatric triage) saw me in the waiting area and recognised my need, although I am a senior citizen. True “triage”. I think she implemented my swift assessment. I was attended to by the Deputy Nurse in Charge who was everything you could wish for, calm but quick, expert and professional. I am so grateful. Later transferred to a ward where the excellent care continued. Every single member of staff has my praise and gratitude.

I just wanted to comment on the brilliant service and care I received yesterday at the A&E department. I had a bad head wound after falling off a ladder and hitting my head. The Triage nurse was excellent (didn\'t get her name) as were all the staff. Lovely nurse who took my blood pressure etc. Fantastic people, each and every one of you. Thank-you very much

From the moment I entered the department the receptionist, pre-reg nurse, ENP and HCAs were all incredibly professional, caring and friendly. I cannot fault the amazing service I received. Please pass on my thanks to all the staff, the orthopaedic team that reviewed my injury so very efficiently and quickly. They are all an absolute credit to the organisation.

I want to extend my gratitude and respect to all concerned in my stay for knee replacement in November. My room was brilliant and the care I received from was excellent. Many thanks and well done. The food was good with lots of choice,

From the minute my husband and I arrived on the day of his surgery, we were greeted by welcoming staff who directed us to where we needed to go. My husband was kept in for 3 nights in total and has said that his care throughout this period, day and night was faultless. Thank you so much to the team on B7, keep up the great work.

I was dealt with quickly and efficiently, apart from a nurse in Emergency who could not find a vein for cannula. I have large veins and another nurse had no problem. My examinations and tests were extensive and explained despite it being Saturday night. The service was excellent and I feel I have had a thorough check.

I went to A&E and was seen within 5 minutes, Receptionist was polite and efficient. Seen by 2 others in A&E for assessment and ECG - first rate service and excellent communication. Escorted to ACU with commentary on why and what they would do. Seen by a nurse in ACU to take bloods and BP and another assessment - polite, informative and thorough. Arranged for follow up discussion whilst awaiting blood results so we could get something to eat. Was seen again when results were back and following discussion with Dr taken for xray, a seamless process again with full explanation and polite staff on reception and taking xray. Further bloods taken by another polite and informative nurse, another discussion with Dr and finally, when second bloods back, another informative chat before discharge. Although this all took the best part of 8 hours, it was an excellent service, from first contact to last. Everyone involved, 8 or 9 different people, knew what part they played and the importance of their role. Thank you.

Visited the children’s A & E today and my daughter was seen to by a young doctor.

Anyway, this guy is such an asset to the NHS and very refreshing to come across. They have what many doctors don’t have; full of energy, keen to engage and dedicated to trying to resolve the patient’s issue quickly and without fuss. In times where it’s all to easy to complain, this person should be commended and recognised as being excellent at their job. Please ensure they receive this praise as it’s truly deserved

I accompanied my partner to the ED as she had suddenly developed a vision problem. We were seen very quickly. The man who examined my partner's eye could not immediately and with certainty identify the cause of the vision loss, but made sure that there was no pain and then booked an appointment with an ophthalmologist the next day to ensure the problem was quickly dealt with.

Hugely efficient and reassuring, got an appointment well within 2 weeks and was seen early on the day, in and out within an hour and reassured.

Saw heart consultant regarding my tape monitor results for my heart only to be told they have been lost and a new appointment for another monitor to be fitted. after 2 months I didn't receive any appointment so contacted the department again, I received a letter stating a new appointment has been made. I attended the appointment and had the monitor fitted and two months latter I still haven't had any correspondence regarding the results or follow up appointment.
