Have your say on UTC relocation plan

A consultation has launched about plans to relocate Peterborough's Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC) and GP Out of Hours Service.

These are currently sited at the City Care Centre in Thorpe Road.  But the proposal is to move them to Peterborough City Hospital in Bretton, alongside the Emergency Department.

The plan, from Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), aims to provide an integrated urgent and emergency care service at one site.

The CCG says moving these services to one location will mean people have to travel to just one location for care rather than trying to work out which service is the right one for them.

A public consultation has now been launched giving local people the chance to have their say about the move.
